While completing his Masters of Design at the University of Melbourne in Australia, Jon was able to work with Major Projects Victoria on the E-Gate redevelopment plan which is a 49.5 acres site that will provide housing for up to 10,000 residents and 538,000 sq.ft. of commercial and retail space. E-Gate is adjacent to the Central Business District of Melbourne and was the basis for Jon’s Master’s thesis.

Prior to his time in Australia, Jon worked in Atlanta, Georgia on various commercial and residential planning and development projects including the Hamilton Mill home town development, Wild Timber and Sterling on the Lake.

Jon moved to Southern California in 2014 with his family and spends most of his free time cheering on his kids at their soccer games. He is very excited to be a part of the Pacific Coast Land Design staff where he will be able to utilize his desire to create exciting, sustainable urban landscapes.
