Project Background:
PCLD has a 20 year relationship with Santa Paula that includes residential, recreation, commercial and urban design.  This collage of constructed and under construction urban design projects is clustered around Santa Paula’s Train Station. Green Alley is a downtown pocket park in Santa Paula’s historic District.  Recently completed Mill Plaza is the central rest area for a 31 mile bike trail.  The Farm Workers Memorial Plaza honors farm worker families of the Santa Clara River Valley.

These projects are focused on creating vibrant outdoor gathering places that reflect Santa Paula’s unique oil, railroad and agricultural heritage.  A wayfinding system seeks to unify these elements into an attraction for the community and tourists.
