Project Background:
Lynnmere is a 650 acre gated community in Thousand Oaks. Two hundred homes and a five acre park are situated on a mesa between hill crests and the Wildwood Park Open Space.

Scope of Work:
All development landscape architecture including: 1) Perimeter security and entry monumentation, 2) Street landscaping, 3) model homes, 4) Five acre neighborhood park, 5) hillside landscaping.

Quality of Life:
PCLD’s strategy was to strengthen this beautiful natural setting in the designed landscape. The native landscape was restored on manufactured slopes. Plants were conditioned to naturalize wherever possible. Turf was used sparingly, and hardscape materials were earth tone colors & natural materials to fit the setting.
